Series of illustration works I did for the Hakka Cultural Center in Fenglin Township, Hualien.
For the use of being wall paintings in the end, the original works would be largely amplified, including the shortcoming of oil pastel, which is almost impossible to make perfect outlines and precise details. So with the help of CAD, I refined the outlines into a more delicate level that is suitable for large format printing, meanwhile keeping the texture and features of the traditional way of painting. On top of that, the previous experience of painting landscape en plein air had came naturally into the works, combined with the illustration techniques I had already known, and all the elements and experiences confluent here, becoming a new upstream of the following flows.

The works would grow as the person grow, because the arts we make are just the reflection of who we are.
